Rosewood is a small rest home in a former sea captain’s house in the middle of Harwich. Working here is not much like working in a large facility, and the difference shows up in how we care for residents.
A consistent and generous number of staff
That matters to families, and it matters just as much to the people who work here. Good staffing levels mean you have time to do the job properly.
The work here
Rosewood runs its own care, kitchen, activities and maintenance. Openings come up across all of them.
We are a close community where relationships are established. In a house this size you learn every resident’s name, and their family. That is the part of the job most people came into this work for.
Our administrator, Brenna Van Tassel, is a registered nurse and a certified dementia practitioner.
